Pricing

Priced by the size of your institution, not the number of courses.

Two numbers decide your plan: how many people your organisations hold, and how many organisations you run. Authoring, assessment and certification are on every plan, including the smallest.

In short

How Lurno pricing works

Lurno is priced per organisation tree, not per course sold. One subscription covers a parent organisation and every sub-organisation under it, and the plan is set by two numbers: how many members that tree holds, and how many sub-organisations it runs. We are finalising the plans and their figures, so neither is published here yet. Annual billing costs 15% less than monthly. There is no self-serve checkout, so every plan starts with a conversation — tell us your two numbers and we will tell you where you land.

Sub-organisation
A separate organisation inside your tenant — its own members, programmes, branding, domain and admins — that a parent organisation can still see and administer. A corporate academy uses one per client company; a K-12 publisher uses one per school. Sub-organisations nest, and a plan's caps are shared across the whole tree rather than counted per organisation.

The caps are limits, not billing thresholds. The platform holds them itself: when a tree reaches its member cap, the next invitation is refused and the message names the limit and your current count. You are not charged for going past a number — you are stopped at it.

What moves with the plan is administrative control: your own domain, partner sign-on, the audit log, staff wellbeing. What does not move is the teaching. The 53 resource types, the 19 question types, rubric grading and verifiable certificates are on the smallest plan exactly as they are on the largest.

Straight about this

You cannot buy Lurno with a card today

There is no self-serve checkout. Payments and self-serve signup are designed and being built, and until they ship, accounts are created by invitation: we set up your first organisation and invite your first admins, and your admins invite everyone after that. So every plan, the smallest included, starts with a conversation rather than a form.

We would rather say that plainly than put a Start free button on this page and send you to a waiting list. The plan you agree on the call is the plan applied to your tenant.

It also means nothing is sold through Lurno yet — not by us to you through a checkout, and not by you to your learners. No plan carries a transaction fee or a share of sales, because there is no transaction to take one from.

How buying works

From first call to a tenant your team can use

  1. 01

    A conversation

One call about what you are running: how many organisations, how many people, what has to move over and by when. A tier comes out of it.

  2. 02

    A working environment

We set up your organisation under your own branding, load a programme you already teach, and hand it to the people who have to judge it.

  3. 03

    Invitations

We invite your first admins. From there your admins invite everyone else into the roles you defined, and no account exists that somebody did not create on purpose.

  4. 04

    Caps applied

The plan you agreed becomes the limits on your tenant, and the platform enforces them from that point — the same numbers printed on this page.

In development

Three things we are still building

They are badged the same way on every page of this site. If one of them gates your rollout, say so on the first call.

Payments and checkout

In development

Carts, checkout and payouts are designed, not built. Nothing can be sold through Lurno today, which is why no plan on this page takes a percentage of anything.

Self-serve signup and trials

In development

There is no form that provisions a tenant and no trial you can start alone. A person sets up your environment and invites your admins into it.

SCORM, xAPI and LTI 1.3

In development

The standards are modelled in the product; the runtime is being built. Talk to us if conformance is a condition of your rollout rather than a preference.

Questions buyers ask

Before you put this in a budget

Not one you can start on your own — self-serve signup and trials are in development, so there is no form that provisions a tenant. What we do instead is set up a working environment: your organisation, your branding, a programme you already teach loaded into it, and logins for the people who have to judge it. Ask for that when you book a demo.

Tell us your shape. We will tell you the plan.

Bring the numbers you already know — how many people, how many campuses, departments or client companies. We will map them to a tier on the call and set up an environment your team can actually use.
